Debbie Moose believes you should try at least one bite of everything. She started out with a journalism degree and a love of newsrooms, but discovered that food writing could touch on all aspects of life, and offer the greatest opportunity to connect with people. The only thing people like as much as eating food is talking about it. Moose's cookbooks include Buttermilk, Carolina Catch, and Deviled Eggs. Her columns in The News Observer of Raleigh, NC include "Sunday Dinner" and "The Tasteful Garden." Her food writing has also appeared in Southern Living, Midwest Living, Our State, Edible Piedmont, and others.
