Book Inspired Art Project with Cut + Paste Bookshelf

Bookmarks has partnered with Cut & Paste Bookshelf to bring a book-inspired craft every month. New projects are available the second Saturday of each month. Read the book, then make the art - or make the art first and be inspired to read a new book!

June's pick is Look Both Ways by Jason Reynolds, a novel told in ten blocks, showing all the different directions kids’ walks home can take.

When it is posted, the project can be seen HERE.

About Cut and Paste Bookshelf:

Cut and Paste Bookshelf opens the pages of your creativity through art projects inspired by books written for children. The art projects offer a new way to engage students in reading, while encouraging exploration of the arts. Each project is designed for a child to complete on their own, as a family, with friends or as a classroom. For more information, and projects, visit
