Information for Authors & Publishers
As an organization, we have recently undergone strategic planning and have accordingly changed some of our policies as they relate to the events we host onsite, as well as events community partners might be hosting offsite that we participate in. As you can imagine, we receive hundreds of requests and in order to review these in an efficient way, we have set new guidelines for submission. We appreciate your adherence to these new guidelines.
Please note that we do not accept unsolicited requests in the bookstore, on the phone, or via email. All requests must be presented through this website.
Information for Publishers
Bookmarks works with publishers to schedule events 6 - 9 months in advance. If you are a publisher and would like to discuss the possibility of scheduling your author at Bookmarks, please fill out this webform.
Information for Independently Published Authors
If you are an independently published author and are interested in selling your book at Bookmarks, please fill out this webform. Please note that we do not accept any books dropped off at the bookstore, nor do we accept books published through Amazon (e.g. CreateSpace). Independently published authors may also be a good fit for our monthly 4 on 4th Local Author Series or as an Exhibitor at our Festival of Books & Authors.
Hosting an Event at Bookmarks
Bookmarks does not offer space for rental. If you would like to rent a space for an upcoming event, we recommend contacting Footnote Coffee & Cocktails (pictured), owned and operated by Foothills Brewing Co. and located in the same building as Bookmarks. Footnote has two beautiful event spaces depending on your needs, and Bookmarks is happy to provide book sales for events held in either of these. Contact Jennie Hess at email@example.com.
