Join Bookmarks as we celebrate Independent Bookstore Day on Saturday, April 24. This celebration will take place all day, and will be available to customers in-person and online. 

Please be aware, this event will still follow all COVID safety protocols to ensure the safety of our staff and customers:

• Capacity will be 10 customers in the store at one time
• All guests will need to check in at the front table before browsing by making a walk-in appointment for 20 minutes in the store 
• Masks and hand sanitizer will be required for entry, customers will be made aware of store protocols
• There may be a wait to enter the store so please be patient. 

This celebratory occasion will feature special merchandise and entries to giveaway drawings. Merchandise may not be purchased before April 24 and is limited to one copy of each item per customer. Special merchandise includes: 

• A special Indie Bookstore Day edition of Hummingbird Salamander by Jeff Vandermeer
• A special Indie Bookstore Day edition of Sharks in the Time of Savior by Kawai Strong Washburn
• A limited edition printing of a short story by Stephen King and Joe Hill
• A limited edition oracle deck based on Jenny Lawson's new book Broken (in the best possible way)
