Bookmarks is a literary arts nonprofit that cultivates community by bringing people of all ages together with books and authors who educate, inspire, challenge, and entertain.

 

We imagine a community where the power of the book brings forth connection and belonging for every person. 

Bookmarks 2022 outreach stats. 8,049 books were donated to schools and community groups for a total value of $105,996. Bookmarks collaborated with 52 schools and 54 nonprofits and businesses. Bookmarks saved schools and nonprofits $34,922. 43 schools has author visits impacting 7,641 K-12 students. 177 authors were hosted. 209 free events. 2,645 hours were donated by Bookmarks volunteers.
