4 on 4th is a monthly event in the bookstore, co-hosted by Winston-Salem Writers, featuring four authors who read from and discuss their current work. It's a great free, in-person event to meet authors and hear about their books. For the March event, all books contain an element of mystery.

About the Books

In My Mind Is Not Yours: Welcome to Tarot Tori City, Florian Lilly Cobblestone can see the souls of others; most are in the form of spirit animals. Scared at first, she learns how to interpret abstract creatures, decoding the true nature of their owners.

Never Is Now is a murder-mystery thriller, set in a rural Southern community in the 1980s, involving two murders that are seemingly unrelated.

In Trade Off, a vivacious and talented woman's plan of becoming an actress is hijacked, and when she is forced to choose a secure life with an affluent lawyer she doesn't love, she learns there is no guarantee of fulfillment on the path to safety.

In Curing Time, Hume Rankin ignored the old woman’s warning, and now he is haunted by the possibility that he may have played a part in his own demise.
